New students are welcome to try and enrol in our classes any time, at any point during a course. Grammar is introduced through reading, writing and listening activities with homework set from the course book to expand on learning done in class. Our B1 course is very comprehensive and divided into four parts with groups progressing at their own pace and taking anywhere from 2-4 terms to complete each phase. Ideally, students will have completed the A2 level, have an A-level in Spanish, recent immersion in a Spanish-speaking country, or been raised in a Spanish speaking home. For B1.0-B1.2 you will be able to understand Spanish when spoken at a slow-moderate pace, have a sound understanding of basic grammar and be able to independently respond to questions in short phrases.
