Continue or resume your journey to fluency with our highest level A1 beginner group which will be transitioning to A2 lower-intermediate in spring 2025. Experience the joy of learning in a small, friendly group with native-speaking teachers, ensuring a sociable and fun environment. Upper-beginner groups are ideal if you have a GCSE in Spanish, have lived in a Spanish speaking country or have taken classes in the past and want to gain confidence speaking and grammar. To join an upper beginner group you will have knowledge of pronunciation, gender and present tense conjugations and a basic vocabulary. For more information and a free level test please visit https://www.todoelmundo.co.uk/spanish-levels Our comprehensive beginner syllabus covers all essential beginner topics with speaking, listening, reading and writing activities - providing you with a solid foundation in the language. As groups move on to A2 we start to introduce new tenses and linguistic concepts to enable students to express themselves more freely in Spanish. While we don't focus on official certification, our groups progress at their own pace, welcoming new joiners anytime. Next term in our upper beginner Spanish course, students will recap essential foundation-level skills and build on them by learning to talk about past experiences, abilities, and personal qualities. Key grammar topics will include the pretérito perfecto for discussing recent events, and saber and poder + infinitive for describing skills and capabilities. Vocabulary will cover professions, personal traits, and abilities, with a focus on pronunciation of the /p/, /t/, and /k/ sounds for improved clarity. This course is ideal for reinforcing basics while advancing conversational confidence. Included in the termly fees is access to homework and other digital resources in our Forum and extra online 'catch-up' classes.
